Palex Medical, aware of the need to automate hospital pharmacies, created the Hospital Logistics and Engineering Division 25 years ago. Our aim was to provide doctors with technologically advanced solutions that would remove the administrative burden and allow them to spend more time treating their patients.
We took the first step in 1998, establishing the division and incorporating automated medicine dispensing systems (ADMs). Since then, our engineers, IT specialists and hospital logistics experts have been researching and working tirelessly to develop customised integrated solutions that efficiently manage resources and optimise logistics and care processes, responding to the needs of each of our clients.
In 2011, we installed the first SmartKanban system for managing medical supplies, consumables and high-turnover medication in Spain. In 2013, we launched the RFID Dyane SmartCabinet for managing high-value materials and those with high patient traceability requirements. We also started trading internationally in the same year and now have distribution agreements in more than 20 countries.
We have continued to research and develop our solutions, and have since added product upgrades and new solutions to our portfolio, including Estimtrack for automating the surgical unit and Dyane Captis for digitising implant sheets in patient procedures and for data mining.
